The AIDCCommunity is dedicated to building a robust network of manufacturers,exporters/importers, distributors, and dealers. Members must adhere to thefollowing Community Policies, which apply to all public threads, non-public messages,traveller messages on user profiles, social teams, and other forms ofcommunication within the AIDC Community. By posting to the Community, you agreeto these terms.
- Golden Rule: Treat others as you would like to be treated. Misunderstandings are common in online communities due to the lack of tone in written communication. If you interpret a comment as rude or offensive, consider that it might not have been intended as such. Instead of responding negatively, it is often better to ignore the comment or report it to moderators by clicking the "Report Abuse" button. Remember, responding to negativity with further negativity is against our policy and can lead to sanctions against your membership privileges.
- Respectful Behaviour: Do not engage in abusive or disrespectful behaviour. While disagreements are natural, personal attacks and inflammatory comments are not allowed. Examples of prohibited behaviour include:
- Flaming: Posting insults or derogatory comments directed at other users.
- Trolling: Posting inflammatory remarks to provoke others or accusing others of trolling.
- Personal Attacks: Insulting other users or AIDC representatives.
This list is not exhaustive; any clearly offensivebehaviour is also prohibited.
- Welcoming New Members: New members should be welcomed and encouraged to ask questions. Harassment or mistreatment of new users for their lack of knowledge is not acceptable. Remember, everyone was new once.
- Requests for Help: For direct assistance from AIDC Community staff, please use the help form. Typically, customer service will respond within 48 business hours. If you do not receive a response or are unsatisfied with the reply after 48 hours, you may post a message in the Community detailing the issue.
- Privacy: Do not post personal information. This includes names, phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, or any other personal data of yourself or other users.
- Intolerance Policy: Immediate suspension may result from posting content that is pornographic, sexually explicit, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or vulgar. This also includes links to sites containing such content.
- Advertising: Advertising for other firms is strictly prohibited on the Community.
- Copyright: AIDC will address clear notices of alleged copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights infringements. For more details, refer to our Membership Agreement.
- Suspension and Termination: AIDC reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, if there has been a breach of these Community Policies. Consequences for violating these policies may include:
- Removal of material or postings from the Community
- Issuing a warning
- Suspension or banning of your AIDC Community account
- Disclosure of information to law enforcement if deemed necessary
- Pursuing further action as deemed appropriate
AIDC isnot liable for actions taken in response to breaches of these Policies or anyloss or injury resulting from the use of the Community. The responses outlinedare not exhaustive, and AIDC may take any additional actions it deemsnecessary.
Byparticipating in the AIDC Community, you agree to abide by these policies andthe AIDC Membership Agreement.
